I am in desperate need of some ideas for my upcoming re-enlistment next year. This will be my very last re-enlistment since I'm going indefinite. I'm not anything cool, such as airborne qualified so I can't jump out of a plane or anything. I'm stationed in Stuttgart, Germany and honestly the only thing we have on base are a pair of WWII tanks on display. I want to make this re-enlistment a special one. Fire away with any serious suggestions. Thanks.

How about Re-enlisting at the Eagles Nest. Great history there. Maybe consider a trip to Normandy! That is an amazing site to behold and of course very historic as well. Thats my 2 cents.

I've decided on the Eagles Nest. My LTC is super excited to re-enlist me there and is always asking when "we" are gonna make this happen. My re-up window opens up this June. If any body has any suggestions on how to prep for my event, then I'm all ears. I know that it will be out of my pocket to travel there, I'm not paying for everybody else of course. Maybe I could make a lunch/dinner reservation for everybody at least.

It's not a bad place, just hard to leave for some MOS. I like my current leadership 10x better then the prior.
