It appears that we are becoming up with new ways to kick people out of the Army and can only imagine it is to meet force reduction and enforce standards that were bent during our "deployed years" in order to keep up our numbers.

Is this necessary? I know at least in the Reserves if we just enforced current standards and processed packets that were already in the system we would be well on our way, if not past, the necessary amount to reduce the force as a whole.

From all I have seen and read about, the Army is just enforcing
standards that were "relaxed" form some reason. I do agree with your
general idea but to what new ways are you referring?

Just like in the civilian world, if we just do our job, usually, the situation evens out.

Unfortunately, there are not that many that are willing to do their jobs of counseling, putting it in writing and processing those who want to get out or cannot adapt.

If Congress enforced our laws, and balance the budget, we wouldn't be in the crisis we are in now.

There is too much waste in our government that can be trimmed out without the need to weaken our defense capabilities.

Just a few days ago, I read about the State Department being unable to account for several billion dollars.

I don't know, I have already seen a few "my leg hurts, I want out" and a few months later they are gone. Seems like we already have plenty of ways.
