Not at all.

From a PSYOP perspective...

You will learn useful skills including, communication, marketing, psychology, analysis, etc... as well as various others such as, small team tactics for example.

It really depends on what you want to do after the military. But I have had no issue finding work in the security sector with one large retail corporation, and three private security companies. I have had a fellow PSYOP soldier from the past go work for one of the largest design and marketing companies in the midwest.

It just really depends on your goals and what you want to do.

Psychological Operations in abundance with all of its skills look sexy on a resume. If you want to attend college, and if you go active PSYOP, there are a handful of college's that will basically start you off with a 2 year degree, just for being a 37F.

I have never had a negative response from having Psychological Operations listed on a resume.

I hope this helps.

SSG Sean New, There are many job opportunities for Civil Affairs operatives (notice I said operatives), which means if you understand that definition, successful employment is based on how you use your people skills; teaching, nursing, Paramedic, Doctors, Vets, etc.

Termination of service is a harsh way of saying end of service.
Use MISO not PSYOP on resume.
