The Boy Scouts have started a movement to honor police officers. The problem as I see it is that it tries to use the Black Lives Matter moniker against them. I think this will potentially cause even more attention (like me posting this question) in a negative way.

What do you think?

It will matter in the same way that all the colored ribbons matter. I can't tell you what all the colored ribbons mean anymore, nor do I care to learn them. They've lost all meaning.

There's a certain point where a novel message just becomes noise.

My issue with [Insert Applicable Group Here] Lives Matter is that it is divisive. All lives matter simple as that.

That is one of our biggest issues as a nation. We are focusing on these things that make us different instead of focusing on those things that make us the same but respect our differences. I never say that I am [Insert Caveat Here]-American, I am an American. If we did more of that we can move forward. Until that happens the rifts in society are going to grow.
