Capt Walter Miller - First, I don't believe, as you state, that Obama has been successful. He has destroyed our economy, set race relations back decades, turned his back on our allies and embraced our enemies, over-reached his Constitutional authority, championed immorality, and is fast turning our country into a third-world country with lawlessness, political corruption, and class warfare. I, for one, think that things in the Republic of Obamastan are not as rosy as the Obamastanis want to portray. He is the most inept, racist, divisive, immoral, and corrupt president our nation has ever had.

While you cite the private sector job growth statistics, you fail to acknowledge that there are very many differing views about what those statistics represent and how they were derived. Many things play into those figures (besides the obvious favorable manipulation of the parameters by the Administration). All one need do is check the vast number of articles from learned individuals and organizations that support the views of both sides of this argument. Which is correct? Probably both, to some degree, and the actual truth, as is typical, is probably somewhere near the middle of the opposing views.

Decrease in the numbers of people looking for work, people who take jobs that are much less than they previously had (underemployed), reduction in public sector jobs driving people to private sector (and that loss of jobs not factored into the stats shown here), lower population numbers skewing the stats, and on and on, impact the picture the Obamastanis try to portray as proof of Obama's greatness. In addition, the rate of growth (180,000 jobs per month) is much less than that during Reagan's and Clinton's administrations (240,000 jobs per month).

I have first-hand experience with how these figures are skewed by the government. For example, I personally saw a situation where a government contractor who operated at several government sites in the same city was required to show an employee who worked an 8-hour day (4 hours at one site and 2 hours each at the two other sites) as three jobs. Saw that with several hundred employees and that was the government requirement. All they wanted to do was claim the addition of three jobs on the stats for one person's 8-hour day.

It is all smoke and mirrors... As I have told you on other occasions where you purported your sham of a president was wonderful, I try real hard to see it from your point of view, but try as I might, I just can't seem to get my head that far up my ass.

TSgt Frank Shirley - TSgt Shirley -- It is simply a fact that is plain for everybody to see. There is nothing at all bigoted about my statement of fact. One simply needs to look at his and his Administration's track record of supporting causes and people on the basis of race. From supporting black criminals over the police and the rule of law, refusing to prosecute based on race, hailing lawbreakers/looters/rioters as doing good work, supporting the BLM idiots who advocate the murder of policemen, and on and on. If you would remove your head from your ass, you might just be able to see the truth.

Contrary to what you might think, just because someone makes a derogatory comment about a black person, that does not make that person a bigot. In most cases, the person yelling "bigot" and "racist" should be looking in the mirror when making those comments.

TSgt Shirley, the fact that you can't see that he has set relations backwards is startling in the least and alarming in the extreme. On every occasion that he has had an opportunity to advocate our similarities and inclusiveness, he has done the opposite, by speech or action. Stop being blind.

SFC Charles Kauffman - Just because the VA offers you those meds, doesn't mean you have to take them. A lot of vets that have seen more shit that you are functioning just fine. You may have had issues before you grunted up.

This is a very pointed question, implying that he has been successful without leaving room for the counter to that without a direct disagreement with you. I will leave the answer alone, but keep in mind none of these metrics are a given and data can be used by either side to prove their point.

If you wanted a discussion on whether or not he was/is a successful president, ask the question "Do you think President Obama has been successful?" or even better "What has President Obama done to make you think he was successful, or not successful during his presidency?"

A question posed the way this one was does not leave room for debate or disagreement. I am not saying you will do so, but typically the ones posted like this also are accompanied with down-votes for anyone who disagrees.

I agree with you, its poor journalism at best. One should never start an article, argument, or discussion with the words "indisputable fact that...". Everything can be disputed especially statistics.

I personally don't think he has been successful. I think he has done more damage to this nation with all of the PC crap, thug life promo, and everything else he has promoted to divide us. In my Opinion ( Yes I get to have one still) he is the worst president I have seen in my life time and I can't wait until he is out of office and hopefully just a bad memory.

If you look carefully at the url you will discover these charts were made by "Progressives" for Progressives. I wouldn't trust the results unless I could see the raw data and the collection methods.

Any president who doesn't salute soldiers or marines and systematically removes generals from their positions or oversees a 4 star general (petraeus) while allowing his Secretary of State to get away with the murder of this countries heroes is the worst jackass ever, and if all you can do is laugh at that, well you are as ill informed as anyone

1stLt Nick S - Sir, this is not putting words in your mouth: "What about Bush? If that's saying he didn't care about the military then you are wrong sir. He sincerely cared for service members and their families sir" And as you can see sir, I did ask for elaboration. I don't just "pop off my mouth" so to speak.

1stLt Nick S - dumbest thing I ever heard… obama was smoking pot in college on a free ride… .my lowly rank makes me more qualified to be commander of the military than him…. You can be critical of Bush but he served and he was a patriot… i know obama doesnt give a rats ass for the military or the country and im almost convinced that his whole mission has been to destroy our constitution and set us up for a communist switch in government.

1stLt Nick S - Bush did in fact mess up a salute because the dog he was holding started fidgeting. He put the dog in the chopper then came back out and gave the Marine a proper salute
