Looks much better that the Quonset hut I occupied SSG Paul Setterholm :-)
I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't some type of resort :-)

I went to ft. Benning. The 2 training brigades were harmony church (we called it splinter village-old ww2 barracks) and sand hill (we called it the sand Hilton) I was fortunate to attend the sand Hilton. Cold air conditioning.

SSG Paul Setterholm - I commanded A-9-2 from Feb 1985 to Sep 1986 in Harmony Church in the old wooden barracks. Then I led the Testing and Evaluation group of 46 NCOs which was based in Sand Hill in 1987.

YES! I was able to be at both ends as a Pvt, and a Drill. I love unsecured wall lockers almost as much as the gas chamber.
