There is Oil Money to be Had There, New Shipping Lanes opened up by the Melting of the Polar Icecap. This should come as no surprise. This was going on in the Cold War. I lost track of all the pictures of US Subs breaking thru the North Pole that I have seen.

From a significant previous experience I will say the "Russians" are masters of smoke and mirrors and for the most part I say discount by 2/3 what you see from them. I remember some of their old tricks. Good Tricks that I'm sure they are still using.

Yes it is starting up again. With the increasingly aggressive posture taken by Russia we have no choice but to increase our defensive posture in the region.

1SG (Join to see), Thank you for responding. I definitely agree with you on this matter. I also believe that other countries like China, Iran and North Korea are just using our current conflicts with Afghanistan and ISIS terrorist as a smoke screen to develop potential aggressive game plans against our country in the future. Hopefully we have enough eyes and ears in all areas of concern.
