Good luck with that. I have been looking all over the place. It is a bad time right now. I should be better early next year. I think I find a ADOS gig somewhere but you have really hit a nitch. For me it was being a prior service infantry officer that is Ranger qualified in the National Guard deployment time as an officer. The position was asking for all of these. I was lucky to hit must about every mark they were looking for. But most often states don't want Infantry officers. They want officers in functional areas such a logistics or signal. Sure there are a few positions that are generic that anyone can go into but then again anyone can go into them, not just infantry. It is hard to find anything that is tailored to infantry only.

You have to use your CAC or AKO login. It is pretty simple but you can find jobs out here for National Guard Officers in a federal status. The only draw back from these you state has to release you.

CPT(P) David Thorp - I tried to go back active in 2007. I told my commander while I was in the Guard that I was done with the guard and that I wanted to go back active. He offered me a full time job within a few days. I told him if he could get me on active duty for a few years I would stay for the deployment in couple of years. I did get the job but in 2010 they weren't looking to take any prior service. Then I got stuck in the Guard. This down sizing isn't helping either. It is hurting the Guard pretty bad.
