What are the NCO barracks like in the Camp Walker, Henry, or Carroll area in Korea?

In May I will be arriving somewhere in that area, on an unaccompanied tour. I was wanting to go ahead and gather information on the NCO barracks situation. Whether it is one shared living space, or if you have your own room with a shared bathroom/kitchen. When I was stationed in Germany, you shared a living space with another person while sharing a bathroom with two other Soldier's, and sharing a kitchen with everyone that lived on the floor.

I was on Carroll with 1st PLT 188th MP Co in 2009-10, I'm assuming thats where you are going. On walker they are pretty decent. You have your own room and then shared a common area with 1 or 2 people. When I left Carroll in Jan 10 they had just moved into new barracks where i believe NCOs were on the first floor of the building and each had their own room and bathroom. Joe's were on the second and third floor with two to a room. Overall it's not a bad gig. Working the road there is a joke. You may get one case a month a week or even month. Good luck!

If you end up visiting Carrol make sure to visit the American and the Country. By far two of the best restaurants I ate at when I was there. I was an MP there back when it was the 57th. Awesome experience. Make sure you get out and about.

Barracks already sound better than Germany. What were the field rotations like? Yeah, from what I've gathered, it looks like I'm going to the 188th.
