If you go to page 74 of the new DA PAM, the illustration of the female PFC in her ASU's is wearing a stripe down her leg (the bottom half of which is identical to the picture of the NCO on page 73... lazy illustrator...)... C'mon Army, it's not like this was put together in a hurry or at the last second....

How bout the bun no wider than the head? Looks like we're about to see some HUGE buns out there.

We've been seeing some ridiculous ones already. Sadly, they now have written guidance that gives them license to test the strength of those hair bands...

How about this one from the DA PAm?
Chief warrant officer 4.The insignia is a silver-colored bar, 1/4 inch in width and 3/4 inch in length, with four
silver squares centered on the bar, positioned parallel to, and at each end, of the shoulder strap.
I think a silver bar with silver squares is going to look a little too much like another rank insignia.

Sam, I was still making my list. It looks to me like you have too much free time on your hands. I will talk to your boss about getting you involved with more meetings! Hopefully, these changes are made before anyone starts spending any money.

In regards to the field grade/company grade, it is ridiculous Army leadership has not officially designated what warrant grades are field grade and what grades are company grade.

Ronnie, that will be an interesting issue to follow over the next few years. The new OER has a CW3 being rated on the field grade form, but if we look at the MTOE for an aviation unit, does it make sense to have 7 field grade officers being commanded by a company grade officer?

Because warrant officers are not just in the Army, we will most likely never see this change. Actually try to reference anywhere there is a remark of such other than a DoD travel regulation? Jeff the BDE HCC has an MTOE of like 20 field grade majors, LTC and the COL, not rated, but owned administratively. The rating scheme is obviously different than who you work for and who owns you administratively. Currently in 101, not a single CW5 is senior rated by anyone other then the DCO

As a Illustrator myself, it's not that difficult to spot that black line on the pants. Some 25M soldier or civilian needs some corrective training. Some four count military presses with pencils will fix the issue...LOL
