The Law should be gender neutral. Especially when you consider long term ramifications like divorce. There should be no implied advantage to being a the "mother" as compared to the "father" when both parents should be on equal footing.

Just because we don't emotionally like something doesn't mean there isn't a logical reason for something to exist.

The military got rid of the terms Husband & Wife, replacing it with the term Spouse which is gender neutral. This is no different.

So why dont they just refer to us as IT? I say hold the Court in contempt for not reconizing me for who I am. 1 and 2 is what people use to use to describe what they did in the bathroom.

Sgt Kelli Mays Times change. The idea that little Billy or Sally is going to have a Mother & a Father is merely an assumption, and a bad one. It is entirely likely that he can have a Mother & a Mother, or a Father & a Father, or just one of the above. As such using "gender neutral" language in administrative & legal documents is completely and totally appropriate.

This documentation is not about "personal." It's removing emotion from the equation. As it should.

Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS - they forgot that little billy or little sally will not be here without a mother and a father. Yes the male sperm fertilizing the female egg. Those are facts. Just because you don't like them and live a disturbed valued life does not change the facts that god intended. Talk about fucked up from the floor up. SHEESH.

Sgt Aaron Kennedy, MS - No he/she can have a mother and a father. The thought that he can have two mothers is ignorant. Mother defined - a woman in relation to her child or children and give birth to, have, bear, produce, birth.

Father - a man in relation to his natural child or children and be the father of, bring into the world, spawn, sire, breed. Try making little Billy or sally without one of these two items. See what that get you.

I'm pretty sure that everyone still has a male and a female parent.
Depending on the form, it would be relevant even in cases where the child was adopted.
