I think of the day I will grow old telling my kids or grandbabies about the day their old man was fighting the global war in terror! Will you tell them all or just leave it to there imagination. - Given the fact they aren't still fighting in it :(

I never talked about what really happened in Vietnam other than the funny shit. But I did write a book called "UNIFORMS" which does tell about some of my experiences as a Vietnam Combat Veteran. I've heard that it's not bad reading and, among other sites, it is featured on the Marine Corps Military Writer's website.

I tell my stories to my family. I don't know if I'll get any grandkids, but my nephews and niece will hear my tales. I'll leave a lot to the imagination too.
