VA is Bringing an Economic Development Initiative to Waco!
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will host the Heart of Texas Benefits and Employment Fair on November 19 and 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT at the Waco Convention Center located at 100 Washington Avenue, Waco, Texas. This event is offered at no cost to Veterans, transitioning service members, spouses, family members, caregivers and survivors. It will include a Veteran Resource and Benefits Fair, a hiring fair, daily claims clinics and workshops on benefits from VA and other organizations (https://rly.pt/vawacotexasBenefitHiring).
* Please RSVP for Days 1 or 2 at the Waco Convention Center by 11 November 2024.
On November 21st, the event will move to the Veterans One Stop, located at 2010 LaSalle Avenue Ste A, Waco, Texas, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. This is a special addition to the Economic Development Initiative, which is focused on addressing the needs of homeless and at-risk Veterans in the Waco area (https://rly.pt/vawacotexasOneStop).
