The dates of service on your profile show from June 1984 to March 1989. For the Air Force, medical records prior to May 1994 were sent to the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC)* at the National Archives. You can submit an online request for a copy of them through eVetRecs*.

If you are looking for your records as part of a VA claim, the VA will have any records in the NPRC sent over as part of the process.

If you've previously tried eVetRecs and your files weren't at the National Archives, have you tried contacting the 377th Medical Group? Not long after you left the service, the Air Force opened a joint clinic with the Department of Veterans Affairs (the Kirtland Clinic) and the 377th operates it. Any records from your time should have been sent to the NPRC, but as a shot in the dark, you can see if the medical records section can provide any insight [login to see] ) to where they might be at.

The VA can make request to individual facilities for specific time periods that a veteran or dependent was seen at the facility. This includes former and existing facilities and organizations. This is normally done after all other records searches have been completed

Archived medical records are generally kept regardless of where you retired from. You should be able to request your records quite easily. I've done it myself and it was pretty easy.

According to that website, they have no AF records before 5/1/1994.
That's interesting.

Sgt Rickey Turner - You have to read the fine print. Pre 94 you have to request the records from NPRC. 1994-2013 the VA has them. Post 2013 the Airforce has them.
