If a chapter 2 physical expires during the direct commission process is another one required?

This is a follow up question to a previous post:

Currently a direct commission selectee. I sent in my chapter 2 physical.

It Expires this December. If the USAREC surgeon general approves it, and it expires before the process is finished (say I commission in January) will I need to do it again?

As part of the packet, is it good since it was approved during the process?

Thank you all.

Hello. I am currently a direct commission selectee.

My chapter 2 physical expires on Dec 22. 2024. That will be two years. Last update from HRC is, "Once USAREC surgeon general receives your commissioning packet for review/ validation the processing time on average usually takes 30 days."

That will essentially put hearing anything back at November 1.

Is there any chance that the USAREC Surgeon General could say that it's too close to the expiration and he wants another one?

Is it more likely he will go by the book and approve it?

Thank you all.
