A few people on here only show up to leave negative comments on a post. I've blocked these people because I can't be bothered with them. Why bother posting just to be negative every chance possible?

MSgt Jim Wolverton Just continue to block them. This is a great site and there are a lot of great individuals out here posting good stuff. Intelligent stuff and stuff that we can learn from. Don't let the few who haven't grown up yet ruin it for you. Hang in there and enjoy those who know how to be positive even if its a subject they hate!

Misery loves company....and this is an easy opportunity for them to spread their misery.

I agree it gets very frustrating. There are also a few who post questions then either reply immediately with their answer, or put their answer in the question.

Why post a question you either already know the answer to, or don't actually want an answer to?

The negativity though seems exceptionally irritating.

Sgt Kelli Mays Sorry that's my fault on the confusion.

The initial posted of this question MSgt Jim Wolverton was mainly talking about negativity in responses.

I brought up the fact that I also notice it in questions as well as some questions that seem to exist for no purpose.

It bothers me less to have someone post negatively (still bothers me) on a question I have posted, but it bothers me more when I respond thoughtfully to what I thought was a legitimate question only to be told by the person who posted the question that I'm wrong (and seeing them reply to every person who didn't have their opinion in the same way).

Sgt Mays name calling and demeaning comments are never appropriate. Issues can be discussed and resolved by using facts and references. I do love a spirited debate particularly with someone not too bright. Being fairly new on here I haven't had the occasion yet.
