Does Drill Sergeant assignment automatically disqualify me from submitting a WOFT packet?

I've been working on my WOFT packet for a few months and two months ago I received an ATRRS reservation for the Drill Sergeant Academy. I didn't think this was an issue for my WOFT packet until I seen the bottom of the Warrant Officer Application Checklist, where it says "I certify the applicant is not on Drill Sergeant assignment instructions. So does this automatically disqualify me or is there anyway at all to get around this to submit my packet to the next board?

The Drill Sergeant (DS) Program is one of those 'everyone will keep your hands off these candidates' programs and is controlled by the CG, HRC. If selected for the DS program, you're locked in regardless if you applied voluntarily or were 'voluntold' by the Army.
If you want to submit your application for anything else that interferes with the program (apply to OCS, WOC, etc.) you have three options as a DS candidate:
● Submit a request to be withdrawn/deferred from the DS Program. The DS Assignment Team (AHRC–EPD–D)* handles all requests to enter, requests for deletion and/or deferment from the DS Program.
● Delay your WOFT application for ~2 years. If you're in the DS program, you can submit a WOFT application after your stabilization period (18 months) when assigned as a DS following your school*.
● Submit a waiver request (prior to your 18-month stabilization) to the Director of Enlisted Personnel, HRC. If approved, your packet for WOFT will be allowed to progress.

Back in my day, folks used the warrant packet to get out of a DS assignment. The warrant process was a guaranteed deletion of DS orders because they were critically shorter than DS. And they were wildly successful.
That's why HRC had to add that.

Disregard the previously written statement. I stand corrected by the good Colonel
