I am trying to enlist with Indiana Army National Guard, while taking with the recruiter he mentioned that I will need a waiver for my Re code, which is a Re2C, but also I will not be able to obtain a security clearance because of having a waiver!? I have had one before, so if anyone could enlighten me to if this may be true or misinformation that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

As far as I know, having a waiver does not automatically disqualify you from getting a security clearance. If you are getting an answer that doesn't quite sound right, I would get a second opinion or research your question.

I appreciate your feedback, and I also feel the same way that it doesn't sound right. I will definitely keep digging. Thank you sir!
