When making a resume on USAjobs do you also only write down the last ten years of duty places if you been in the military for longer than 10?

As many as you want. The guidance used to be put in as many things as you could and have huge descriptions for each job so every key word was in there. This is no longer the case. Now they are saying a resume should be no longer than 5 pages, it should be tailored to the specific job and the quality of your bullets is much more important.

Thank you Sir. Everyone is different on how they want it. Wasn’t sure if they wanted 22 years worth of stuff.

Not true in the civilian world. The studies show that HR might give your resume' 60 seconds before going on to the next one if nothing grabs them, so keep it to a couple of pages with a cover letter. The cover letter should tell them what you can do and what you are looking for from them. Then my Resume' is just long enough to list job skills and certifications, a job history to fill all the holes. I don't think any of them care about much more than that stuff.
I've used that approach for the last decade or so for both contract work and non-contract jobs. I've managed to walk out the door on one job and into the next.

Need to build a civilian resume and upload it. However keep it generic for the main one. When you see a job on USAJOBS, tweek your resume to the specific job using key words from the job announcement KSA. It is computer generated sacn at first before it goes to anyone. Whenyou get tothe questions at the end, you are the expert on everything...if not you will be kicked out as not qualified..unfortuante to play that game but that is how it goes.

I'm Now A Retiree, But In My Youth, I Was A Mid-9th Grade DROP OUT ~
But A USAF And U.S.A.F.I. Self-Educated Person Later In My Career; And I Was Educated FAR Better Than Any Public Education Could Even Have Considered.
And I Could, And DID, Write Resumes, Which Could Put Walt Disney's Fiction Writers To Shame.
NOT Exactly Lies ~ But Just The Truth Stretched Beyond Recognition...Because I AM Well Educated.
Upon Applying For A Factory Job At F.M.C. In Michigan And Rejected For "Scoliosis" (Curvature Of The Spine), I Then Asked "Are There Any Office Jobs Open"? And There Were, In The Purchasing Department As An "Industrial Purchasing Agent", But It Required A College Degree....(WOOPIE).!!
So I figured "What The Hell, I May As Well Have One"~ ~ And Golly Gee ~ There Is Was; Right There Where I Came Up With It;, In My Mind & On Their Application For The Position...A Masters Degree In Business Administration, With A 3.6 GPA......
What I'm Attempting To Point Out, Is "Put On Your Application Want You Think They Want To Know"...
If You Can Handle The Position, Apply For The Best Job You Can & Use The Right Words To Tell The Truth, As You See It...And They Will Want To Hire You For That Position..... And Once The Job Is Yours Work Like All Hell To Keep It & Do Your Best To Be The Most Productive Employee In Your Department, "Just In Case" They Discover, You're A Lying S.O.B. ~ But Doing So Well They'll Keep You...
~~ I Just Never Got Caught ~~ But I Was Promoted To Purchasing Director, And Put In Charge Of The Purchasing Department In Indiana.. ~ Take YOURSELF As Far As You Can Go ~
~Don't Rely On Others. They Will Fail Where You May Have Succeeded~
