Reading the headline, I'm sure many jokes and sudden suggestions and ideas pop up, but, considering this did happen, do you foresee the probable use of drones to smuggle weapons or other contraband into prisons in the near future? Do you think the FAA regulations should to be changed, increased or just simply enforced?

Undoubtedly, the benefits of the drones will be exploited by the deviants of society for less than honorable desires....causing restricted use for those that have honorable/legal uses for them, like potentially delivery of vital organs to waiting patients and etc..

I also see this as going to be a big issue involving home and foreign terrorists... And truthfully, I don't see the FAA being able to control it at all... I did have some ideas to confront this, but when you consider the 2nd and 3rd order of effects, it's just not worth it...

Not to mention the possibility of "dronejacking"... sounds funny, but totally doable...

Drones are threatening air travel and we haven't been able to control them yet? How are we going to control a delivery system of illegal drugs and weapons?

Very good question for all of the "open top" prisons, military installations, secure areas, etc as they are going to need to address as some point... Imagine getting scanned and patted down and still being able to receive a weapon?
