Is there anyone on RP who would be willing to provide me with guidance throughout the Army Flight Warrant process?

Hey there!
Currently, I am preparing a flight warrant packet. My original intention was to become an officer through OCS. AGRs, however, are not allowed to apply because a memorandum was written wrong and is being revised. I want to focus on Flight Warrant now. Is there anybody who can provide me with guidance throughout this process? My flight physical is currently in phase 2 and I passed the SIFT today with a score of 53. Thanks in advance.

Not sure the path you want to take, being AGR. If you're looking for active duty, then 1SG (Join to see) is correct in contacting your recruiter. If you are looking to stay Reserve-side, then you need to talk to a specific unit. The majority of Aviation assets in the Reserves are in the National Guard, and the Guard has specific requirements/quotas that they fill. There are a few Army Reserve Aviation units, but most of the time they are looking to pull people that have left active duty, not risk taking a chance on funding someone who might not make it through flight school. The guard is much more flexible (e.g. my flight school class had about half active, half guard, the guard guys were all going to go to specific units with specific aircraft, and their requirements for these officers were a lot more flexible than those of us on active duty...for instance, again, we had Guard officers in flight school who wore glasses. Nobody on active duty was accepted who required vision correction). For further information, try these links (they contain POCs you can contact directly):

You should go talk to your local Accessions NCO. it is that person's job to help walk potential candidates though the process. Being a recruiter, I bet you probably know the retention NCO that manages your unit. I bet that NCO knows the accessions NCO!
