Every day for the past two years, an entire neighborhood pause from whatever they’re doing in their busy lives for a about two minutes.

For the past two years now, one man has made it his mission to play "Taps" from his balcony every day, rain or shine. As his way of respectfully paying tribute to our nation and its troops, this musician humbly feels it’s his sacred duty to play this song for his neighborhood. At the same time, each and on every single day, whenever he begins playing, it feels as though time seems to stop.

At this point in my life, the song is too painful for me to play it daily....I struggle to make it through, too personal still!

Very mournful and too painful to hear every day for many, I'm sure. I do enjoy 'Retreat' and 'To the Colors' at the end of each day. Here is a bittersweet moment where a great comic share his experience with a military tradition:

I can understand CPO Andy Carillo. But thanks for the video, it was awesome, I loved Robin Williams and he will be missed. I gotta share this.
