Kunsan AB, Korea, It was my second base and my first time overseas, I liked Korea so much I stayed for 3 years in a row. Thanksgiving was always at the Chow Hall, and absolutely everyone went. The DFAC crew always put out a great spread for all the holidays at the Kun.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - I too lived life, in my 23 years I visited 143 countries, have lifelong friends in many of those places, did things that would check the box in most folks buckets list, and married a beautiful Korean girl who I am still married too after 36 years! I was in Desert Storm, OEF, OIF, and pretty much every flying operation we had up until 2007 when I retired. I know things have changed, but there are still folks making the most out of thier situations and living life to the fullest. 건배!(geonbae)

Now THAT Is "LIVING"; And Living Life Is What Everyone Should Do..
And It's Unfortunate That So Few Actually Do.... One Must Be Willing To Take Chances & Accept The Fact Some Things Will Fail; And It Takes Failing To Learn How To Reach The Top....And The Top Is Just A Goal. But It's Similar To Traveling; Sometimes It's The Trip Which Is More Of An Adventure That Reaching Place You're Going, And That's What Living's About.. Never Knowing What'll Happen, Then Experiencing The Results ~~ No Matter What They Are.
