I'm a garrison asset looking to serve commands within our footprint. I'd like to know what you did outside the lines of your IMCOM footprint (or that you've seen done by Chaplains) that resulted in good news stories that first and foremost served soldiers, and secondarily served as recognized "best practices" by tenet units.

I'm not a Chaplain, but a missionary for Ministry to the Military, International. I teach several different Bible studies, along with working alongside of the Chaplains here with family activities like the trunk or treat celebration we had last month

Dynamic Ministry Initiatives. The things that get noticed are the small, unique, unexpected things. One of the ones I like to do whenever I can is Sushi Ministry. I make fresh, vegetarian sushi (for health and food safety reasons) in the field, and tie that into the message of faiths working together. Spiritual Fitness and Breakfast with the Chaplain was another really well-received one. Feel free to ask for details.

1LT Wes Moldogo - by all means! May it be of as much benefit for your Soldiers as it is for mine.

I have had no greater honor than to serve soldiers. There were things i did for the command, like do the program and planning for prayer breakfast, Easter Sunrise services. But by far the most important thing i did, was for my soldiers to know that what they said to me, stayed with me no matter what. I was once threatened with arrest by MP's at Fort Rucker. I told them please do, I will become the most famous Chaplain in the Military Service.

Is this the new Chaplain's crest? It does not look like mine did. Praying that Chaplain's are not so vanilla with their commitment.
