Hey I am just wondering if anyone knows when the results for the July 2015 QMP board will be released. I know that the board convened on 14 July but I have not been able to get an answer as to when the results of the board will be released. I know that in prior boards some people have seen the Reenlistment Eligibility/Prohibition code on their ERB change to 9L if selected for discharge, but I don't know if that happens before the soldier is notified of the results by the CoC.

CPL (Join to see) - I found out right around the 14th of Oct. Those that get retained will be given paperwork from the board. My 1SG is supposed to email me mine stating I was retained. Still haven't received them yet.

HRC just held a “QMP Townhall” on their Facebook page. For the past hour or so, they have answered many questions SMs had regarding the QMP results. Below I’ll copy and paste most of the information. BLUF: The board results are not expected to be release until end of September or early October. The board is complete; they are awaiting the results to be approved by the DMPM Army G1.
Visit the HRC Facebook page, if you are looking for details.

Here is some snippets from the conversation, names removed:
U.S. Army Human Resources Command- we are anticipating the results to be available by the end of this month or early October. This is deliberate process with many steps after the completion of the board. The separation date is the first day of the seventh month after the board results are approved by the DMPM Army G1 for the July board, this date will be 1 March 2016. We haven’t yet done post board analysis.
U.S. Army Human Resources Command- As we've noted in a few other threads, the results of the July QMP board are expected to go out by the end of September or early October. The list must be approved as a whole by the Director of Military Personnel Management at G1 before notifications commence. When HRC receives the approved results, they are forwarded through the commands to all Soldiers at the same time.
U.S. Army Human Resources Command- appeals are processed as they are received. It is a very thorough process which involves the action officer reviewing the appeal and making a recommendation as to whether the appeal meets the established criteria of newly discovered evidence, subsequent removal of documents from the Soldier’s AMHRR or material error in the Soldier’s record that was reviewed by the QMP screening board. Once the action officer reviews it, the branch leadership reviews the recommendation prior to forwarding to the SJA for a legal review. Upon completion of the legal review, the action is forward to the Force Alignment Division Chief and/or the Director of Enlisted Personnel Management for decision.
If the appeal does not meet the established criteria, it is returned to the Soldier. If the appeal does meet the established criteria, it is forwarded to the next convening QMP board for review and recommendation.
U.S. Army Human Resources Command - yes, when the board members review the Soldiers record, they take a holistic view of their whole record, not just the document that identified them for QMP consideration. The overall record along with mitigating matters the Soldier may have submitted are what the board uses to consider retention or denial of service.

For what it is worth, not sure how official it is..I finally ask my CoC again about the names that got submitted (mine being one of them) I was informed that none of the 4 SSG's in my company were chosen. I am still wondering because 2 hours after I asked the question I got the reply.

I was retained. However, my next question is: Will this be a yearly battle I have to face or is it once you're looked at and retained that's it?

SSG (Join to see) - Once you are retained, you can't be looked at for QMP again unless you get another disciplinary action. However, if your in a stagnate MOS and you're not getting promoted you can be looked at for the QSP board.

From HRC town hall facebook post:
There was an error in yesterday's town hall. We originally said the separation date for those selected by the July QMP board would be 1 March 2016. The correct date is 1 April 2016. We apologize for this error. This is a difficult situation for Soldiers and families affected and getting the wrong information only makes it harder. We know that and apologize for the mistake.
So, that's telling me results should be coming down soon
