The regulation is pretty clear. No tattoos on the wrist, hands, or head (with some exceptions).
I define wrist as anything below the wrist bone, like where you would wear a watch. Something you could see in uniform.
Is that pretty much the standard definition? For example, if you got a tattoo on your outer forearm that ended before the wrist bone, and you couldn't see it in your ASUs or other long-sleeved shirts, would you presume that to be acceptable?
I present an example, the guy on the right, with the molon labe tattoo.

The Regulation should actually be pretty explicit about what is not allowed. LONG.... ago the standard was nothing above the collarbone (head or neck), nothing below the wrist bone (hands), nothing below the ankle bone (feet).
As pictured however, the tattoos are both on the arm (forearm, and forearm/elbow respectively), as opposed to the "wrist."

I would agree, just wondering if someone could take issue. You know how people love to make up their own interpretations.

Except the wrist is made up of 8 bones and its a joint rather than a bone. Same with the ankle and knee.
