Hey Rally Point, question regarding BAH waivers.
I'm National Guard, and am planning on attending a 25 week course next year (255S WOAC, Fort Gordon, GA). Being over 150 days it's normally a PCS move.
Since I have a home with an employed wife, and 3/4 kids in school in Hawaii and currently pay $2350/month for my home and returning after the course I'll be applying for a BAH Waiver (I would be making significantly less with only GA BAH, and wouldn't be able to afford a house in GA & HI).
Assuming I get approved, what additional Pay & Allowances will I receive? BAH w/dep in Hawaii? And COLA? And BAH w/o dep for GA? BAS?
Thanks all for the feedback!

Chief. you will only get one BAH with dependent rate. I'm not aware of any waiver that allows someone to draw two BAHs for different locations simultaneously. I would recommend you talk with the finance office there in Hawaii for clarification.

Ivan, if you get the BAH waiver, you'll get BAH I w/dependents for your current duty station, and that's it. Anything else is on you. When I went through my WOAC for 255A, there were plenty of 255S who did the roommate thing off post. I've still got contacts down that way, so let me know if you need help.

What ever happened? I am in the same boat for Flight School and wondering how its going to work to pay for my house back home.
