How long does it take for a promotion status to populate after attending the promotion board?

I attended the promotion board for E-5 back in May and still don’t have my promotion status. I’ve gone into my S1 shop multiple times and have been told it has been inputted. I have my board proceedings as proof but no status. I’m just curious how long it typically takes for a P status to populate? How long should I keep asking before involving my chain of command? Thank you and sorry if it seems like a dumb question but I can’t seem to get answers anywhere or from anyone.

SPC (Join to see), is this a rehash of your "What steps should I take if my CSM won’t sign my board proceedings" question*? Just curious, but what was the date on the board proceedings?
Specific to your question, promotion status changes (marked as promotable, point updates, etc.) that are made by the 8th day of the month*. If not, then the promotion calculations at HRC won't be done until the following month (HRC systems process the promotion decisions automatically on the 11th of the month, that's why the data cutoff is the 8th).
However, as CSM Darieus ZaGara said on the other thread, "there is clearly more here than stated" either with you or your unit.
Every unit I've served with has a process that runs like clockwork for promotions. Semi-centralized boards are held between the 20th of the month before and the 4th of the 'board month'. Most hold them far enough back to handle any potential 'glitches' so the information can be entered in by the 8th of the 'board month'.
Take the "8th of the month" following the date on the board proceedings and that is the EARLIEST it could have been integrated into eMILPO. Keep in mind that the board proceedings are not the authority (that is the Bn CDR), so if their approval is delayed for some reason, then that may delay the entry of the information past the cutoff date (8th of the month).
I can't comment on how long it takes for the information to go from EDAS (Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System - the system which calculates the promotions) back through eMILPO and eventually to your record in IPPS-A, but it should be 3-5 days. However you can always do a search of the by-name cutoff scores on HRC's website*.
I looked for "Sara Smith" and either that's not your official name or your status change hasn't been recognized by HRC yet (as of the 8 JUL pull that is).

What steps should I take if my CSM won’t sign my board proceedings? | RallyPoint
Over a month and a half ago I attend the promotion board to become a specialist promotable and was the only person to attend. I passed and still have not received or had my board proceedings signed. I need the proceedings for I am currently pregnant and need them for my temp promotion. I have made points twice but can’t do anything without these documents because I’m not even in the system as promotable yet. I’ve gone through my chain of...

I should think that if in fact the S-1 put it on the computer, he/she could tell you.
