Once a weapons card expires, how long does it take to reflect 0 points on your PPW?

I have a friend whose weapons card is about to expire. She says it takes a few weeks to reflect 0 points on her PPW. I thought it would reflect the day after it expires.

According to HRC, DTMS information changes should be updated on the PPW in 3-5 days*. However, expiration should happen nighty as the PPW tracks the expiration date for weapons qualifications (unless for some reason they removed that when the ported it over to IPPS-A) once a score is verified by the DTMS manager when it was last entered. If it was removed, then it be 3-5 days like the rest of DTMS updates to the PPW.
Side note: According to the HRC memo, the Weapons Qualification expiration date of 2 years is suspended until then end of this year (31 DEC 23). However, I couldn't find a MILPER message with that information so I would confirm before taking it as correct.
