I am stationed overseas in Korea and my husband in stateside. We both will be PCSing soon to Fort Irwin and both cars are stateside with him. I asked if we could ship the cars and was told no, then I asked if we drive will we be reimbursed and still they said no. Is this possible? What should I do?

They are incorrect who ever told you that. Wherever you depart from stateside to your next duty assignment you will receive travel pay and mileage is .575 a mile. It is found in the joint travel regulation. https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/Docs/perdiem/JTR.pdf. This is the regulation that you will find all information pertaining to your travel.

Maybe it has changed, but I seem to remember that each member could ship a POV. Are both y'all driving? If you both drive 2 SEPERATE vehicles you both should get mileage. You both have to file a travel voucher so I can't see how only wouldn't get paid unless they've really changed things.
