On a smaller scale, yes. I've seen Army vessels come out of rebuild service and put back into -10/-20 standards see worthy configuration. I would love to see a large Navy vessel do the same thing in person.

The launch of this LCS was discussed in another thread on RP last week. IT is impressive to watch though. I saw the Scoop Jackson and Arleigh Burke launchings. Both were impressive, although the sideways launch always scared the you know what out of me...
