I just PCSd from Korea and now I’m here at Fort Hood. My unit is on rotation right now and from what I’ve been told by my sponsor is that it may be a possibility that I’ll be going once I’ve completed inprocessing. I know I have 6 months dwell time but I was on a unaccompanied tour. I’m a single soldier. I’m looking through AR 614-30 right now but any assistance with this would be helpful. Thank you.

Nope - that's all that applies to you - the 6 months of dwell time for being on a dependent restricted tour (that's the max you'll get, even if you were extended beyond 12 months). You can waive that 6 months, but you can't involuntarily have it waived for you without SECDEF approval.

Your sponsor and leadership may not be aware of your situation regarding the regulation (most aren't unless they have dealt with the issue before). Just politely draw their attention to it (instead of trying to beat them over the head with a regulation) and get their reaction and go from there.
