How could I proceed with the commissioning into the AR with a USAREC board results?

Hello Leaders, I am in a dilemma where I was not selected for RA commission but was afforded AR commission instead according to the memo published by USAREC in December board. I am a currently in an IRR but how can I proceed with the AR commissioning? I've been getting mixed guidance from the recruiter I am working with and my reserve guidance counselor/ Officer Accession NCO. Any direction would be appreciated.

Whatever you get figured out, you will need a commissioning medical. So get ready for that.
If I were you, and at a loss where to reach out to next I would google unit contact information for the MOS/AOC (what do you want to be as an officer) of units you'd like to be assigned to and see if they have vacancies for LT's.
Chances are such units will start kicking over stones to get on on the books.

You have much more control over your career in the reserve component. My recommendation is, determine the branch you want and find a unit with a slot for you. Try to find government employment or the most friendly employer you can. Learn where opportunities to volunteer for extra orders and assignments are posted and take advantage.
