The armies of ISIS still remain a violent threat in Syria, Iraq and surrounding areas. And while President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry have discussed strategies and plans for how we can halt the spread of Isis, one important advisor has been left out the loop.

Late-nineties pop-reggae star Shaggy, who taught the world to lie about their infidelity in hit song "It Wasn’t Me", has aired his own personal thoughts on how we could stop Isis for good.

Speaking to the Miami New Times, Shaggy said his plan would involve strategically piping his music into Isis base camps (somehow) so that the terrorists could connect with his music on an emotional level.

“If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick,” mused Shaggy. “But right, music evokes emotion. So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off.”

He then reasons that were Isis to listen to his music – such as his new tune "Go F**k Yourself" – they might quit terrorism all together.

“There’s two things you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or you’re f***ing high,” he explains. “High people don’t want to kill nothing; they want to love. They need to bag some Jamaican weed and distribute it among Isis.

“I guarantee there won’t be any more wars out there.”

Shaggy, real name Orville Richard Burell, actually has a military background - he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and worked as a field artillery cannon crewman. He even served in the Gulf War.

But since his army days he has focused primarily on his music, including breakout hit "Mr Boombastic" but also esser-known studio albums Original Doberman and Midnite Lover.

Maybe they'll want to cut their own heads off so they won't have to listen to his music...

No, he is absolutely wrong. Did they not see what the state department said? They need jobs! Maybe it is jobs in music. I love how all of these experts have figured out this whole ISIS thing. I hope he goes to Raqqa and tries that.
