So, I'm Aspiring to be a Navy Seal, I'd love to earn the trident, I know it ain't gonna be easy, that's probably an understatement, but I was wondering if some Navy Seals, or maybe Instructors can tell me what to look forward to? What to expect when I do tryout if I pass the tryouts to proceed to BUDs?

Life is too short, if I die young, I'd rather die working towards something I love, trying to become a US Navy Seal!

Sounds like you are motivated. It is a long haul from here to there. Don’t misplace your motivation. You should realign the ultimate sacrifice to the position once earned. It is admirable that you are willing to lay your life on the line for this country.

I recommend that while you look toward being a Seal that you also look at the entry requirments and the annual selection rate. Then discuss with your recruiter what is necessary for service prior to selection.

So don’t lose the motivation, just ensure it holds true with serving in the mainstream military before selection.

Good luck.

Make sure you have a back up plan. Statistically speaking there is a 90% chance you'll be doing your back up plan.
