IAW Army Directive 2014-29, the ORB must reflect sexual related offenses. Do you think DUI's and other UCMJ violations should be included on ORB/ERB's also?

That is a good question CW4 (Join to see). I believe DUIs end up in your file as a result of the mandatory GOMOR, unless some silly Commander does not file it in your OPMF. But, I think if we are going to add sexual assaults to ERBs/ORBs then it makes sense to add alcohol and drug offenses. But, I can't read the attachment and the details for some reason. There is a down-side, insofar as when items are posted. When someone is charged with a crime, that charge is recorded in the national crime records center. If you are found not guilty, or the charges are dropped, the data base is not always updated.... So, if the entries are based on convictions, that makes sense. In most case if convicted, of serious crimes, your ERB and ORB likely will not matter...

Any offense which is illegal in the U.S. Military should be documented in records. We know before we enter the military what is right and what is wrong. Us as leaders have the responsibility to uphold the standard and make on the spot corrections. We make too many exceptions for those who do wrong and not praise enough of those who go above an beyond the call of duty.

When Service members change stations it is like a chance to start over. In the civilian world we are at the mercy of the court. We live a military lifestyle, (which is like no other) we have a standard which has its own set of rules.
