Aside from RallyPoint, where is the best place to connect with service members and veterans who are looking for business opportunities?

I am very passionate about connecting with service members who are separating soon from service and veterans who already have to share our business opportunity. Can the members here kindly provide local points of contact for us to reach employment transition offices or local veteran employment offices? We are in the business of helping military members transition to business ownership and independence. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried Linkedin? It's a great resource for military and civilians (and especially military personnel transitioning), probably the best I've seen. I encourage you to do your research and if it's for you, take a look at the link and join, it is free to join as well.

Thank you CSM U - I am on LinkedIn and thank you for your suggestion. We are in the process of putting together a financial literacy/entrepreneur training seminar and taking that to military installations. Not so much for recruiting - more for information regarding what is available during and after ETS and then showcasing multiple home-based business opportunities. We intend to utilize many social media outlets to promote the event, but also need to have actual points of contact on the ground to coordinate the events.

CSM, did anyone inform you that you may get a FREE premium upgrade for 12 months at LinkedIn - just because you're a Veteran and a Jobseeker It is also renewable simply for the asking.

From what I can tell you aren't allowed to let anyone know through RP, that you help veterans or promote your Veteran owned business EVEN if you NEVER charge a Veteran or Spouse for your help. I can post jobs all over LinkedIn with little or no objection. I mean, who are we trying to help here anyway? That's just my opinion.
