SPC(P) (Join to see), the reserve component meets the same training standards as the active component. There are a few military courses that have a "distance learning/reserve component" part of the course that can be taken instead of a resident phase, but as far as I know there are not any AIT courses that fit into this mold.

AIT for 35L is 18 weeks at Ft. Huachuca.

There is no RC version of this course. You can log into the ATRRS course catalog and look at the length of any course you want to see.

There is an RC and NG version of the course. However, they have the same curriculum. The only difference is the RC component schools can be done in phases to accommodate RC Soldiers who may not be able to take time off to attend the whole school all at once. That being said, AC Soldiers often attend the RC CISAC as well, mainly because of the AC school not having enough seats available.

Thank you! No one could verify if it was shorter for reserves/guard.
