A new twist on those who fuss about Flag Stompings

An article came out about some teacher stomping an American flag, and getting fired for it. The image with the article showed a rag, not a flag...something a bit similar to the American Flag but looked as if it were sewn together by a 3 year old, and NOT even a "correct" version...Yet many people jump to "Good she was fired" without even noticing this was NOT an American Flag that was stomped on. Are people really so fussy...there isn't enough real BS to fuss about, they they have to go inventing more?
