I'm a 92A. My branch manager asked if I would be interested in a short tour in Bahrain. I've researched a little and realized it's nothing but Navy out there. I don't see anything online about Soldiers stationed in Bahrain. Bahrain doesn't even pop up on career tracker. One of the 1SGs in my brigade looked it up on career tracker and only saw E-6 & E-7 slots for a different mos. What kind of position could I be walking into if I accept the offer?

NSA Bahrain is home to approximately 9,000 military personnel and DoD Civilian employees assigned with 78 Tenant Commands, as well as Joint and Coalition Forces. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that a U.S. Army detachment of some sort would be there.
