I have less than a year left in my contract and I’m currently in SFLTAP my unit is forcing me to go on a rotation to Korea and said they’ll only send me back up to 90 days early, can they do that? I was always told SFLTAP is mandatory and takes significantly longer than 90 days add on needing to clear the unit, CIF, and any terminal leave I don’t think it’s possible.

If I can complete TAP while on a 9 month rotation to Honduras, I'm very confident you can complete TAP while on a rotation to Korea.

Yes they can. TAP is also allowed to be started at 18 months out as well. If there is some CSP program you are set on doing you can extend another year and complete it after the rotation.

30 days is more than enough time to clear everything, two weeks is enough if you live in the barracks. Terminal leave is on your own and the unit isn't required to approve it, but as a SPC you probably aren't carrying much more than a month. You can complete the required TAP classes in about two weeks or less. That's plenty of time.

The problem as I would see it is you wouldn't have enough time to complete a CSP which is really doing you a disservice. Many soldiers receive job offers with the company they completed their CSP with.
