I originally went through MEPS at San Antonio, but my recruiter was located in New York. Currently, my family has moved to Virginia and I was wondering how you request for hometown recruiting and if it's possible to do it in Virginia.

Have you already contacted the local recruiting office you are trying to work from? I would start there. The Marine Corps has a similar program and it starts with working with the Recruiter to start the process.

You posted this in "AIT Student". Are you in AIT? Have you talked to a local recruiter?

Hometown Recruiting is an Army program to have newly enlisted soldiers work with a recruiter right after training.

If it’s anything like the Corps program the recruiter sets that up and it’s the home of record (where recruited).

I am currently in AIT. But my main issue is that my family has moved over to Virginia, but my home of record when entering into the military is Texas.
