I'm a 94F with the F1 ASI. The F1 course is no longer being taught as the equipment I work on is being phased out. However, my unit is 1 of 2 that will continue to have the equipment until the COMPO3 fielding. As the only qualified maintainer in my unit, I contacted the school house in Gordon and asked if I could get their course material so I can bring my other 94F's in and teach them myself. They declined my request. Is there a better way to request the information?

Try having your CSM or Warrant contact the course Developer/Writer, the MOS Proponent, or the Commandant to request the material.

Good to know. That's the route I'm currently taking.

I’m assuming they are reluctant to give the material to an individual that’s not an instructor. Maybe your command can request the course material. That way you could train them and maybe the commander could apply for waivers for your team when they are deemed qualified.

I'm currently working with my command to get memo's drawn up, from Battalion, which gives critical information to support my request. Thank you.
