Stay out of trouble! There is zero tolerance for acts of indiscipline, especially for alcohol related incidents or curfew violations. I’ve seen a lot of good Soldiers from Private to Colonel go down for getting in various alcohol related incidents. Take advantage of the in-country travel. There’s a lot to do in Korea and if you plan at least one thing a weekend, your time will be of value and will go faster. There’s a ton of history and a lot to see there!

Whenever you get your sponsor's information make sure you contact them for specifics. I was there on rotation in the summer of 2020, it's a good post from what I remember. Are you going accompanied or unaccompanied?

SGT (Join to see) - make sure you look into how you're going to get your vehicle shipped over there, if you want to bring it. Unaccompanied personnel E6 and below can't even bring their vehicles, I'd personally take advantage of being able to. Big thing a bunch of us had to do was get sim cards (and subsequently different phone numbers) from one of the South Korean carriers, we were able to do this at the PX.
