I've searched inside AR 672-20, Incentive Awards, but all I found was Honorary awards are "
Recognition of outstanding performance and achievement usually accompanied by a medal, certificate, plaque, or other item that can be worn or displayed." But there is no guidance for wear or display.

Based on your post, I'm going to assume that you've received the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service and wish to wear it on your uniform. Starting off in AR 672-20 was a good start, but that's only going to tell you about the award itself, for rules on wear you'll need to consult uniform regulations. Check out AR 670-1 22-4c. and DAM Pam 670-1 22-5c.(24).
If you have no uniformed affiliations, wear the medal however you see fit, you're a free elf.
