100 black and white photos from the Korean War, many of which contain unidentified service members. Really, really cool stuff and if you have loved ones that fought there, maybe a chance to help the project identify everyone in the images!

This is a very cool project! I only wish that my Grandpa was still here with us, so I could go through these pictures with him. He was always so quite about his experiences, but he did talk with me every once in a while. I miss my favorite Marine!

My grandfather refused to talk to non-vets about his wartime experiences. One day on leave, I got invited to join the "river gang" on their yearly get together. It was a bunch of old men sitting at the end of my grandfather's dock, fishing and sharing war stories - not a civilian in the group. I am still in awe of these old WWII and Korean War vets and what they went through.

Amen brother! It was the same way with my Grandpa. It really angered my Dad and his brothers. They just didn't understand and when he opened up to me they didn't know how to handle it.

It didn't anger my dad. He understood. It definitely hurt his feelings a bit though as they had always been very close.

Same. Old war photos have always held a special appeal to me. There were so few of my grandfather in WWII, I'd be over the moon to find out there were some we didn't know about.

My grandfather was in the Navy during WW2 and was in the Pacific theatre, my great uncle was a side gunner on a B-17 in the European theatre. I would LOVE to get my hands on those since neither are still alive and didnt talk about the war during the time I knew them.
