I see that there are other CU Buffs here at RP; and my question is how many of you were members during your time at CU?

CPL Richard Flagg and Fellow Buffs, Here's a great FB link to the current CU-Boulder Veterans Alumni Club. They're doing some great things in Boulder --and have some "re-charged" leadership.
While geography is keeping me away from Boulder, I am familiar with many of the current membership. They are a solid group... Interested in advancing vets' presence and involvement on, and off, campus.
The Naval Alumni is a little more of a social network. But, they'll welcome aboard regardless of your service selection.

I was on active duty. I went through the Army's Advanced Civilian Schooling Program at CU Boulder from August 2013 - December 2014.

CU vets association didn't exist when I was there. The CO of our NROTC battalion, Col Gregory Akers, USMC when he retired from the Corps told the University's Leadership 'you have a department for every interest group that exists, except the biggest one: the Veterans.' He challenged the school to make a department for veterans. The leadership thought about it and agreed on the condition that he stand it up, and last I heard that's what he did in 2008.

When I went to CU back from 92-95' we had a Vets Club right down the hall in the UMC from the Credit Union and near the Pizza Place.
Last I heard our prime UMC office space got moved to another floor. I mean holy fuck the UMC was dedicated to all those fought and died for this country. What a friggin slap in the face to move the Vets Club; but shit that's so CU Boulder ain't it?

You know, it might be that there was one when I was there but I didn't know about it (I wouldn't have been eligible yet anyway), and I guess Col Akers was standing up the University's vet division not the association.

This one Vet who shall remain nameless didn't like me; so he engineered a little coup and had me voted out as President of the Vets Club so he and his crew of lemmings could take over. I was like you back stabbing bitch; so fuck you I'm short time to look at coeds and drink coffee.
