Are there business rules governing going from Reserve PSYOP to Active PSYOP or SFAS?

I recently had my conditional release approved, I was curious if there were business rules for going reserve Psyop to Active PSYOP or if I would need to go through POAS? I also considered putting in an SFAS packet, however if I washed out would I become needs of the army or would being 37F qualified be taken into consideration? Any information is appreciated.

You need to attend POAS. That is what the "condition" to your Conditional Release is. If SELECTED, you are released to Active Duty.
Contact the nearest Special Operations Recruiting Battalion station or the PSYOP Proponent to get the most up to date information about this.
I was an ARSOF Recruiter, 38/37 Reserve always have to attend their corresponding Selection Course. You need the entire ARSOF application/packet, then go to POAS/CAAS. IF Selected you will come to Active Duty, go to Bragg, and go through the Q course, gotta learn language and the SOF side of things, you've been doing the conventional side of things. If you make it all the way, boom you're a 37F in USASOC. If you don't pass the Q course - you are needs of the Army for whatever MOS they need.
Your Reserve 37F will not make you "safe" from needs of the Army - because it not the same qualification as an Active 37F. You will enter Active Duty with no MOS essentially.
