Is there an accurate way to calculate Army Reserve time to Active duty?

I'm just curious if I did a six yearsstent in the reserve how many years would count for Active duty. Assuming you have all good years.

It's extremely easy. Any time covered with a 214 is active duty time. Every Active Duty point is worth one day of Active Duty time. 360 Active Duty points is one year of Active Duty time.

CPT Lawrence Cable - No, we do not. It's due to the manner in which the Orders are funded thru and what Title they fall under. Usually AT is, for us Reservists, are ADT (Active Duty for Training)...or something along those lines....which means no DD 214. Same thing when we go to a PME. We get a 1059, sure, but no 214.

MSG (Join to see) - That would be like the Guard, AT were Title 32. I did get a DD214 for IDT (Infantry OSUT) and again for Officer Basic Course. I believe in my files I have two DD214's, two NGB22's and two Honorable Discharges.

CPT Lawrence Cable no, only periods of 90 days or longer get a DD214. But the points are listed in the DA 5016 for USAR and the NGB23 or the Retirement Year End (RYE) Report for ARNG.

His Reply: "I Joined The Reserves First, Where Rank Is A Lot Easier To Get, Made Sr. Master: Then Transferred To The Regulars With The Loss Of Only One Grade......My Dad's An Officer & Recommended I Do This, So I Did".......
Is Anything Going On Like This Currently?...

In my understanding only your active duty time counts towards your active federal service. Your other points will be calculated after you reach the 20 yr mark.

If you transition from a Reserve Component to Active Duty, how do you figure out how many...
I'm curious about retirement when you transition. I should be jumping back to the Regular Army soon. If everything works out. But I have a lot of mixed active and reserve time. How can I figure that out? I know there is a RPAS statement but will it only count AD points?

If you did 6 years in the Reserves and switch to Active Duty, then you get 6 Years for TIS for Pay.
