Father's Day has come and gone. Many people spoke to their fathers today. Many others did not. Many can tell their Dads anything, and be heard. Still others can't really tell their Dads what they really want to say because they know they won't be heard. Others wish their Dad would be alive today so they can embrace them. Still others might not care if their fathers were dead. As for me, my biological father didn't want me. Paid to have me aborted. Didn't work. Then for the first 12 years of my life I was raised by a Dad who was a violent alcoholic felon who used to call me his bastard son. Put a pistol to my head when I was 10 and told me I wouldn't amount to anything. But age 12 1/2 mom remarried and I was adopted by the man who is my Dad today. I am eternally grateful. We can't talk on an intimate level though. Tried that but he is always resistant. The question is, what is one thing you really want to tell your Dad, but for some reason you can't? Why?

Probably best just to play the song.....strange enough it is a very close resemblance of our life & relationship, even today....except instead of college it was basic training.
